  1. Fantastic replies! I laughed all the way through your 11 facts. (By the way, how many times did you have to hear someone jokingly sing “Back Home Again in Indiana” when you visited? My parents do it every time we return from out of state.) Thank you immensely for the kind words, and congrats again! Your writing is always so thoughtful and fun. 🙂

    • Thanks, Michaela, and thanks again for the nomination! You know, they actually never say that. I wonder why. It’s so appropriate:) Maybe it’s because my family, who knows I hate snow, likes to joke about my living in blizzard-like conditions out East.

  2. Thanks for the nomination and kind words 🙂
Enjoyed reading your facts from the last 30 days – I’m not surprised you managed to convert someone to the ways of Mae West. And I sympathise with your writers block procrastination, although at least improving critical thinking is somewhat more useful than my usual go-to: mindless TV series on Netflix!

    • You’re welcome. I’m going to call that critical thinking to reassure myself, though I’m not sure how much critical thinking it takes to identify a sexist escapist novel as junk. Mindless TV can be comforting–and it’s wonderful when your mind hurts:)

  3. Great post – and can I second this a gazillion times?! “What a glorious path we were headed on, right before it, and how many more people would watch classic film had it never happened.” I have a blog series on Breen & the Code planned for some time this year – looking forward to letting rip!!

Also, I can’t tell you how much I adore your blog name!!
